System Tray Connection States

The Windows system tray is located on the right side of the Windows Task Bar.  It contains icons of the running programs.  

Sprint PCS Connection Manager has an associated icon that appears in the system tray. The icon changes to reflect five states: 

	Disconnected or Connecting - PCS Phone detected and ready for connection or currently making a connection.
	Connected - Connection established to Enhanced PCS Network and data transfer in process.
	Dormant - Connection established but no data transfer taking place.
	Connect your phone... - PCS Connection Manager running, but no phone detected.
	Error - PCS Connection Manager has encountered a hardware failure or other error while attempting to connect.

You can access the system tray shortcut menu by right-clicking the Sprint PCS Connection Manager icon in the system tray. The following menu options display:

Warning: The Exit menu selection terminates the connection and exits the program, causing the system tray icon to disappear. You may receive a dialog box confirming that you want to disconnect. Click OK to terminate the connection and exit Sprint PCS Connection Manager.
